Pamela Rae Boyington was born on Feb. 8, 1951 in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Mervin and Dorothy Thompson Hanson. She was raised and educated in Webster City.

Pam married Larry Throntveit in 1969 and they had three daughters, Michelle, Sheri and Treasa. On Feb. 15, 1997, Pam married Mick Boyington at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. Pam made her home in Webster City until moving to Eagle Grove in 1994. Pam worked for Hamilton Hospital, Iowa Miss, was a home health aide and also worked for Electrolux in Webster City.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove. She enjoyed gardening, crafting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Pamela Boyington died Friday, July 15, 2005 at Hamilton Hospital in Webster City. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and her aunt, Joanna Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Mick Boyington of Eagle Grove, three daughters, Michelle Enriquez and husband Alberto, Sherri Griffin and husband Ronnie and Treasa Shivers, all of Eagle Grove; son Shane Boyington and wife Andrea of Clarion; mother-in-law Norma Thompson of Eagle Grove and eight grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with Rev. Paul Stone of Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
