Monday, July 18, 2005Richard R. Krazeisen, 76, of Webster City, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Crestview Senior Living. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Graceland Cemetery, with Rev. Scott Jones officiating. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
Richard Reinhold Krazeisen, son of Karl and Christina Bunz Krazeisen, was born June 1, 1929 at Denkendorf, Germany. He received his education at Denkendorf, graduating in 1944. On June 17, 1950 he married Ruth Haug. The couple came to the United States in October of 1954. They lived at Paton, then in 1956, they moved to Webster City. He received his U.S. Citizenship on May 26, 1962. He had been employed at Naden Industries in all phases of repair, installation and manufacturing. He retired in 1994.
Mr. Krazeisen is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Anita Lee of Des Moines; son, Roland Krazeisen of Savannah, Ga; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
His favorite pastime was hunting.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hamilton County Hospice/Respite.
