Kenneth Silverstein, 62, Tampa, a former Webster City resident, died Saturday, June 25, 2005. Mr. Silverstein was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa. He was an entrepreneur, having owned several small businesses. He most enjoyed his family, fishing, golf and baseball.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 19 years, Ame Silverstein; his parents, Meyer and Rose Silverstein of Clearlake, Minn.; son Jeff Silverstein of Tampa; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Rik Pohlman of Minneapolis, Minn.; stepchildren, Luis Gonzalez and wife Christina of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Rex Gonzalez of Tampa, Amy Marta and husband Robert of Portage, Mich.; five grandchildren, Rachael, Rex, Megan, Jacob and Alyssa; his brother, Ben Silverstein and wife Deborah of Clive, Iowa; a sister Barbara Hockenberg; and his German shepherd, "Cubby."

Funeral services were held at Segal Funeral Home in Tampa. Rabbi Frank Sundheim officiated. Burial was in the Beth Israel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, Diabetes Association and to the charity of one's choice.
