Wednesday, May 11, 2005Sally Amsden Katz, formerly of Webster City, died March 28, 2005 in Shreveport, LA. She leaves her husband, James W. Katz.
She was the daughter of Ted and Georgianna Hahne Amsden, formerly of Webster City, where Sally was raised and attended local schools through grade ten. She completed prep school in Illinois and attended Lindenwood College in Missouri.
She was a good student, an avid reader, enjoyed her orchids and cats, loved music and her cello. She worked in a law office in Shreveport. She married Joe Sergio, deceased. She was mother of Jahn Huiszenga and step-mother to Sergio siblings John, twins Tony and Tiny, Joey (deceased) and twins Kathy and Karen.
She was the sister of Julie Mallow, Bellevue, Wash., and Jane Keirsey of Grand Lake, Colo., and aunt to nephews Ray and Steve Mallow and Cole Keirsey.
