Elizabeth (Betty) Bryant, 75, of Webster City, died Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Hamilton Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Rev. John Flaherty, celebrant. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church on Saturday prior to the service. A scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Fosters.

Elizabeth Martha Bryant, daughter of Paul and Genevieve Wajda Picklo, was born January 1, 1930 at Johnstown, PA. She received her education at Johnstown, then attended a nursing school and became a licensed practical nurse. She worked near Chicago, then at the Veterans Hospital at Des Moines. On July 5, 1980, she married Donald J. Bryant at Des Moines. The couple resided at Webster City. She retired in 1985. In 1991, she helped coordinate with her husband, the U-Share Program in Webster City.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by her husband, Donald; sisters, Delores Wilson of Chicago; Patricia Kowal of Kanama, PA; Irene Krisnamoorthy of Lynchburg, VA; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Picklo.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
