LuVina I. Iverson, 92, died Feb. 23, 2005 at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids. No services were held. Her body was cremated. Arrangements were by the Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, with burial in Graceland Cemetery in Webster City.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Shirley Iverson, Cedar Rapids, Stephen and Mary Ann Iverson of Naples, Fla.; and a sister, Wanda Jacobson, Andover, Kan. Also surviving are four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was born June 20, 1912 on a farm near Williams, the daughter of Jacob and Eliza Martin Yanney. Living her earlier years in Webster City, she married Clarence T. Iverson on Feb. 15, 1939 at Des Moines. Mr. Iverson died Sept. 25, 1998.

She formally lived most of her life in Waterloo, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her four sisters and one brother.
