Beatrice Seamonds, 86, of Webster City, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at her home with many relatives and friends reflecting on Bea's life. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery at a later date.

O. Beatrice Stilwell, daughter of Ernest and Leta Montgomery Stilwell, was born November 7, 1918 at Webster City. She received her education in the Webster City schools, graduating from Lincoln High. On April 23, 1939, she married Marion Seamonds at Webster City. The couple had resided at Detroit, Mi., California, South Dakota, Minneapolis, Webster City and Forest City. Following her husband's retirement in 1983, the couple returned to Webster City. She had worked at Northrup Electronics for 9 years and Webster City School system for 2 years. Mr. Seamonds died April 26, 1999. She continued to reside at Webster City.

Mrs. Seamonds is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Don and Maureen Seamonds of Webster City; grandchildren, Shawn and Nick Seamonds, Shelly and Robert Powers; great-grandchildren, Sam, Ben and Max Powers; sisters, Donna Carver of Kansas City, Mo.; Belle Oppedal of Rock Lane, Ca.; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Eunice Stilwell, Gladys Olson and Betty McConnell; brother, Howard Stilwell.

She was a former member of the R.L.D.S. Church at Webster City, where she was active in the Sunday School Classes, Women's department and a Junior Church Leader, Webster City Country Club and C.S.P. Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Elm Street House, c/o Don Seamonds.
