Mrs. Kathryn Buck, 73, a longtime resident of Webster City, died Saturday at Crestview Manor where she had been residing the past three years. She had been in ill health for several years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral home with the Dr. Wilbur W. Bloom officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Kathryn Boozell, daughter of Edward and Margaret White Boozell, was born Oct. 9, 1899 at Webster City where she was reared and educated.

She was united in marriage in December, 1919 to Glenn Hersom and the couple resided in the Webster City area for many years. Mr. Hersom preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1952 [he died December 28]

She was united in marriage in 1959 to E.M. Buck.

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Guy (Evelyn) McFarland, Webster City, Mrs. Leonard (Margaret) Johnson of Jewell and Mrs. Marlyn (JoAnne) Hoffman of Manteca, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers and one sister, Earl Boozell and Virgil Boozell, both of Webster City, and Mrs. M.W. (Ruth) Andrews of Manson, Iowa.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
