Lois Canfield, 80, Webster City, died Monday, August 20, 2001 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Kem officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and prior to the services on Friday.

Lois Aletha Lee, daughter of Ward and Aletha Osborn Lee, was born Dec. 4, 1920 at Tower Hill, Ill. She graduated from Tower Hill High School in 1940. On November 17, 1942, she married Harry Henry Canfield at St. Charles, Mo. The couple resided in Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois and Iowa. She was a homemaker. Mr. Canfield died June 10, 2001. She had resided at Southfield since February of 1999.

Mrs. Canfield is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Gary Besaw of Webster City, Flora Canfield of Eagle Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Bernadine Canfield of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, August and Marg Lee of Tower Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mylbra Jones, Tower Hill, Joyce and Bill Stratton of Mattoon, Ill., Raymond Foor of Tower Hill; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marjorie Foor.

Mrs. Canfield was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved to travel and fish. She will be greatly missed by her family.
