Lynn Boyington, 45, Williams, died Monday, July 2, 2001 at her home. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williams with Rev. John Flaherty, celebrant. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Foster Funeral Home. A scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Lynn Terese Smith, daughter of Deane and Margaret Rodenborn Smith, was born March 12, 1956 at Fort Dodge. She attended Iowa Central Community College and Santa Monica College in California. On July 22, 1983 she married Craig Boyington at Clarion. The couple resided in Dows. They moved to Williams in 1985. She had been employed at Electrolux for more than 20 years.

Mrs. Boyington is survived by her husband, Craig, daughters and son-in-law, Jenni Lynn Boyington of Williams, Stephanie and Nick Reighard of Dows; son, Chad Boyington of Duncan, grandchildren, Ashlynn, Jenna, Jose and Whittany Reighard; father, Deane E. Smith of Fort Dodge, brothers, David E. Smith of Fort Dodge, Stephen E. Smith of Des Moines, sisters Deanna Smith Colvin of Boulder, Co., Lisa R. Smith of Des Moines, Cynthia Smith Humes of Claremont, Ca., Laura Smith Seemiller of Pittsburg, Pa., Maureen E. Smith of Ft. Walton Beach Fl., Suzanne M. Smith Owen of Boynton Beach, Fl., several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Smith in 1992, paternal grandparents, C. Earl and Myrtle Sonquist Smith, and maternal grandparents, Leo and Margaret Gendron Rodenborn.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williams, a Girl Scout leader, her interests were reading, gardening, her cats and family activities.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, and was truly loved by all who knew her.
