James H. Humble, 51, died suddenly of a heart attack at 2:15 p.m. Friday while in the 500 block of the business district of Webster City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. M.V. Chastain officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

James Henry Humble, son of Edward and Elizabeth Humble, was born Oct. 8, 1903 on a farm southwest of Webster City. He was reared and educated in Hamilton county. He engaged in farming for some time, but had later been employed at McCollough's Inc. and the Hart-Carter company.

He was united in marriage Dec. 4, 1931 to Hazel Beard, and to this union one son and one daughter were born: Richard of Webster City and Wilma Jean Humble of Fort Dodge.

He is also survived by one brother, Earl of Webster City, and one sister, Mrs. A.G. (Zella) LaBrant of Davenport; eight nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. Two of his sisters, Mrs. Anna Belle Larson and Miss Elsie Humble died within the past few weeks.

Mr. Humble was a member of the Webster City Moose lodge.
