BALL FUNERAL AT DUNCOMBE

Funeral services for Oro M Ball, 67, who died Wednesday afternoon at his farm home three miles south of Duncombe, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Duncombe Methodist church, preceded by a brief service at the Foster funeral home at 1:15. The Rev. J. L. DeGarmo of buncombe will officiate and burial will be in the Duncombe cemetery.

Mr. Ball had been ill for several months.

Ora Ball, the son of John and Valera Ball, was born Feb. 17, 1879, at Moroa, III. After receiving his education in that community, he came to Iowa at the age of 17, locating in the Duncombe community. On Jan. 14, 1903, he was united in marriage to Ruth Ina Reckard. The couple had since lived near Duncombe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one sister, and two brothers.

Survivors are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Harris of Duncombe, three sons James Reo, and Leonard all of Duncombe, 20 grandchildren, one great-grandson, two sisters Mrs. Estella Eckard and Mrs. Bessie Barnett, both of Bloomfield.

Mr., Ball was a member of the Duncombe Methodist Church,
