C. F. Schwiebert Dies at 63

Calvin F. Schwiebert died at 2:15 this morning at the Hamilton county hospital where he had been a patient since August 5. He had been in ill health since the fall of 1948.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, preceded by a brief service at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster funeral home. The Rev. H. H. Schauland will officiate, and burial will be at Graceland cemetery.

Calvin Frederick Schwiebert, son of Peter and Dora Schwiebert, was born on a farm south of Webster City in the Pleasant Hill community where he was reared and educated. When he was 19 years old, he moved with his parents to a farm four, miles northwest of Webster city.

He was united in marriage Nov. 7, 1914, to Clara Marie Callies, and Mr. and Mrs. Schwiebert engaged in farming on the home place four-miles northwest of Webster City, his home since.

He was preceded in death by his wife who died August 3, 1954; and by his parents.

He is survived by two daughters and two sons: s. Clarence (Evelyn) Noffke. Mrs. Arnold (Velma Hanson, Kendall F. Schwiebert, and Robert D. Schwiebert, all of Webster City; and eight grandchildren.

Also, surviving is one foster sister Mrs. Ruby Johnson, of Superior, Wis. who was reared in the Schwiebert, home.

Mr. Schwiebert was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, and was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church.
