Dorothy I. Daum, age 83, of Edina, MN, formerly of Webster City, Iowa, passed away in the early hours of January 26, 2005.

Preceded in death by her parents M.J. and Anna Isebrands, and sister Marian Daniels of Webster City, IA. Survived by husband Raymond, daughter Betty of Rowlett, TX, son Mark and wife Diane of Edina, MN, brother-in-law Harry Daniels of Webster City, IA, sister-in-law Freddie Daum of Norcross, GA, nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Dorothy graduated as high school salutatorian in 1938. She attended the University of Iowa at Iowa City and worked part-time as a secretary in the Office of the President, and was later secretary to the American Society of Engineering Education at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. In 1949, she married Raymond Daum of Chicago, IL. Upon moving to Edina in 1962, she and her family attended Good Samaritan United Methodist Church for 19 years where she was secretary and treasurer of the Woman's Society and served as Chairperson of the Ladies Circle. She and husband Ray moved to Marsh Park Condominiums in Bloomington, MN, where she served as Social Chairperson and was a member of the Bloomington Woman's Bridge Club. In 2000, they moved to Edina Park Plaza where she enjoyed the company of many friends until her passing.

At her request, there will be no public services. Memorials may be sent to the North Central Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. Private interment.
