Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. (Mae) Robert, 79, of Williams, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic church in Williams with burial in the church cemetery.

There will be a wake service at 7:30 tonight at the Surls Funeral chapel with Father Louis Zee officiating.

Mrs. Robert died Wednesday at her home near Williams.

Mrs. Robert was born April 17, 1905, the daughter of James K. and Mary Duffy, at Swaledale, Iowa.

She was reared and educated in the Waterloo area, and was graduated from the Northwestern University at Chicago. She later continued her education at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls.

In 1932 she was married to Lewis J. Robert at Waterloo.

Since 1947, she had resided near Williams and for 15 years taught at different schools in the Williams area.

She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church.

She is survived by one son, Tom Robert of Williams; two brothers and one sister.
