Vivian E. Ferguson, 84, of Rochester, Minnesota, formerly of Webster City, Iowa died Friday, January 28, 2005 at Sunrise Cottages at Rochester. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Congregational U.C.C. Church, Webster City, with Rev. Howard Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center, Webster City.

Vivian Elvera Brekke, daughter of Anton and Julia Jorgensen Brekke was born on October 23, 1920 at Jewell, Iowa. She received her education and graduated from Britt High School. On September 7, 1939, she married Howard F. Forrester at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. The couple resided in Webster City where Mr. Forrester managed Forrester Dairy. Mr. Forrester died on August 23, 1971. On September 2, 1973, she married Darwin Dean Ferguson at Webster City, where the couple continued to reside. Mr. Ferguson died on April 18, 1991. Vivian moved to Rochester in November of 2003.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dennis Youlden of Rochester, MN.; stepsons, Jim Ferguson of Hayden Lake, ID., Tom Ferguson of Chicago, IL., Joe and wife Charlene Ferguson of Otho; daughter-in-law, Linda Ferguson of Iowa City; two grandchildren; six step grandchildren; one great granddaughter; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth "Bud" and Joan Brekke of Marion, IA. and Eugene Brekke of Honolulu, Hawaii.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son in infancy. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of the First Congregational U.C.C. Church.
