Joan Boggs, age 69, of Jewell, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 28 at the United Church of Christ in Jewell. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Becker Funeral Home in Jewell.
