Steven James Stanley, 56, of Wolf Point, MT, formerly of Kamrar, IA, died Feb. 16, 2014 at his home.

He was born June 20, 1957 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the only child of William and Beverly McCombs Stanley.

As a young man, Steve married Christine Brandt and had a daughter, Angelia. Steve later married Susan Hagen and they had a son, Tanner. In 1993, Steve married Allene Eaglechasing and they had a daughter, Brittany and a son, Austin. The family lived in Kamrar, IA for 13 years, during which Steve was employed by Van Diest Supply and was a volunteer with the Kamrar fire department. When the marriage ended, Steve and Austin moved to Nevada, IA, where Steve was engaged to Jeanne Spaur, and then to Wolf Point, MT, where he married Judi Cody.

Steve was a stubborn, grumpy, sarcastic man with a huge heart who was very passionate about and loyal to his loved ones and causes that were important to him. An old biker that never got over his love for Harleys, Steve loved to reminisce about riding his old 1977 Super Glide to Sturgis and Bear Butte.

Steve is survived by his wife Judi; his children Angelia Rodriguez, Des Moines, IA; Tanner Hagen, Oxford, MA; Brittany Stanley, Aurora, CO and Austin Stanley, Wolf Point, MT and eight grandchildren.

Private services were held with cremation following. At Steve's request, his ashes will be released at Bear Butte, SD.
