Avery Jackson, 21, of Webster City, died Monday, August 8, 2016 in Fort Dodge from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Flagg, officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Avery Scott Jackson was born January 17, 1995 in Webster City, the son of Jeff and Mindy Highland-Jackson. He attended Webster City Schools. Avery enjoyed wrestling during school, fishing, hunting, rapping, four-wheeling and playing dominoes with his family. Avery was a jack of all trades and worked various jobs.

Avery is survived by his mother, Mindy (Allen Dixon) Highland-Jackson of Webster City; father, Jeff Jackson of Webster City sisters, Ashley (Matt MacRunnel) Jackson of Webster City, Allie Jackson of Marion; nephew, Dallas Jackson of Webster City; significant other, Taylor Shubin of Webster City; Avery's unborn daughter due December 2016; grandparents, Linda (Gary) Buttz of Fort Dodge, Kathie Highland of Dayton; Sharon Jackson of Webster City; Denny (LuAnn) Jackson of Webster City; step-siblings, Bridget Koester of Des Moines, Trent Dixon of Webster City, Andrew Yates, Brett Yates, both of Austin, TX; dogs, Boss, Ace and Sarah, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Avery was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Highland; his aunt Angie Hartnett and his dog, Domino.
