OBITUARY

Anderson

Mrs. Catherine Anderson died last Wednesday morning, March 3, 1909, at the home of her son, Reinhold, near Stanhope, after an illness of only a few days. Deceased was born in Sweden, June 13, 1833 and was united in marriage in 1853. She, with her husband, came to America in 1880. Ten years ago she was called upon to mourn the death of her husband. Eight children are left to mourn her departure, namely: four sons - Reinholt, Peter, Fred and Emil; and four daughters - Mrs. Frank Erickson, Mrs. Lofdahl, Mrs. Charles Peterson of Chicago and Mrs. Berglund of Stratford. Besides these she leaves a number of grandchildren and numerous friends. She was a faithful member of the Swedish Lutheran church and not only faithful to her church, but just as faithful in believing that it was her duty as a Christian, to do the will of her Master at all times.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. A.P. Green of this place.
