OBITUARY

Mrs. Anna Sudderberg was born in Bollnäs, Hälsingland, Sweden, May 29, 1862, and passed away at her home south of Stratford, April 27, 1901, aged 38 years, 10 months, and 27 days. In June, 1881, she emigrated to this country, where she was married January 1, 1885, to Peter Sudderberg. From that time until her death she has resided upon their farm south of Stratford. During the past year her health has been very poor, weakening until death claimed her. She is mourned by a husband, two children, a son and a daughter, her father and mother, one brother, and a host of friends, who followed her remains to their last resting place. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Fromen from the home last Monday afternoon at half past one o'clock, and her remains were laid to rest in the Olson cemetery south of Stratford. One of the sad incidents in the husband's bereavement, was the death of his father, who had been buried at this place only two days before, and whose obituary appears in this issue. She was a lady of unquestioned character, and was held in the highest esteem among her associates.

Mrs. Anna Sudderberg died at the family residence southeast of town Saturday, a week ago, after an illness covering more than a year.

Deceased was born in Bollnas Socken, Gavleborgs Lan, Sweden, May 2, 1852 and died April 27, 1901, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 25 days. She came to America May 29, 1862 and to Stratford June 24, 1881. She was married to Peter Sudderberg January 1, 1885. She was a member of the Swedish Methodist Episcopal Church south of Stratford.

Her father, mother, one brother, husband and two children are left to mourn her demise.
