Mrs. Sanderson, wife of Rev. Sanderson, died at her home in Storm Lake, Sunday, Sept. 1st. The remains were taken to Alta for burial today.

Mrs. Joseph Sanderson died of malarial fever at her home in Storm Lake Sunday night after an illness of three weeks. The funeral took place at the Swedish church, conducted by Rev. J. MacAllister, and the body was taken to Alta for burial.

Obituary

The death of Mrs. Jos. Sanderson occurred at Storm Lake, Sunday evening, Sept. 1, 1895, at half past ten o'clock. Age 66 years, 9 months and 23 days.

Miss Hannah Johnson was born in Sweden, in 1828, and immigrated to this country in 1852. In 1858 she was united in marriage to Mr. Jos. Sanderson at Galesburg, Ill. They moved to Iowa in 1865 and settled in Hamilton county, from whence they moved to Buena Vista county, Iowa, in 1884.

Deceased had been a consistent christian for 33 years. She leaves a husband, one son and two daughters to mourn her death. The remains were laid at rest in the Alta cemetery.

Mrs. J.W. Swedlund, a daughter of the deceased and Mrs. A.W. Johnson, a sister-in-law, both of Hamilton county, attended the funeral.

Obituary

DIED - At her home in Storm Lake, Iowa, September 1st, 1895, Mrs. Jos. Sanderson. Aged 66 years, 9 months and 23 days.

The deceased was born in Sweden in 1828, came to this country in 1852; was married to Jos. Sanderson, in 1858 at Galesburg, Illinois, and moved to Buena Vista county in 1881.

The union was blessed with seven children, four of whom have gone before her; a husband and three children, one son and two daughters survive.

She lived a Christian life for 33 years and was a kind and loving mother. The loss is great but she has gone to a home where there is no pain or sorrow. The funeral services were held at the Swedish church conducted by Rev. G.A. Peterson of Meriden, Iowa, assisted by Rev. John MacAllister.
