Peterson

Miss Emily Peterson, the 15 year old daughter of Peter and Ella [Vedeen] Peterson, passed away Sunday night about 9 o'clock of a sickness of a little more than twenty eight hours.

Saturday afternoon between 3 and 4 o'clock she put a shawl over her head and happy as only a girl of her age could be, went out to the woodpile to get an armload of wood. After she had been gone reasonable length of time, those in the house looked to see why she was not coming and saw her lying on the ground. They went to her and found her unconscious, from which she never recovered. Drs. Beach and Chamberlain were called but all medical aid was in vain. The cause of her death was status epilipticus.

Deceased was born on the father's farm about three miles northeast of Stratford and has always been a good hard working girl.
