Mrs. M. Lundstrom of Stratford Died Thursday

Mrs. Matilda M. Lundstrom, 92, of rural route Stratford, died Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Lutheran Home for the Aged in Madrid. She had been at the home since March 31, 1966.

She was born May 17, 1880, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter [Maria Swanson] Erickson. She was married to Frederick Lundstrom at Chicago. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Avon Chapter 504, at Stratford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother.

Survivors include two brothers, Alfred Erickson, Stratford, and Leonard Erickson, Madrid.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., at the Stratford First Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald F. Skoog officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery.

The Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home at Stratford is in charge of arrangements and friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. this Friday and on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m., when the casket will be taken to the church.
