OBITUARY

HILMA LINDQUIST

STRATFORD - Hilma Charlotte Lindquist was born to John and Maria Lindquist at Moline, Ill., April 17, 1877, and died at the nursing home at Jewell on Feb. 20, 1966, at the age of 88 years.

Miss Lindquist was baptized as an infant. She moved with her parents to a farm west of Stratford in 1880. The family entered into membership of the Stratford Lutheran Church and she was confirmed in this church in 1893. She and her sister went to North Dakota where they homesteaded, and later moved back to Stratford where she resided for the rest of her life.

She was faithful in her church as a Sunday school teacher and superintendent for a number of years and was also active in the Women's Missionary Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and three brothers. Surviving her are 20 nieces and nephews.
