LOUISE FAULKNER, 92, Nashville, Tenn., died Monday, April 15, 2002 at the Vanderbilt Hospital at Nashville. Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, May 25, at 3 p.m. in the Graceland Cemetery with Rev. James Buffington officiating. No Visitation and arrangements were made with Foster Funeral Home.

Louise Weidlein, daughter of Joseph and Anna Glenn Weidlein, was born August 3, 1909 at Des Moines. She received her education in the Webster City Schools and graduated from Iowa State with a B.S. in chemistry. She worked as a medical technologist at Kansas City, MO.; Fort Leonard Wood, MO.; Fitzsimmons Army Hospital, Denver, Colo; Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio; and the CORE Clinical Research Laboratory, Vanderbilt Medical Center. She retired in 1976.

Mrs. Faulkner is survived by her husband, Willard; nephews, Wendell Weidlein of Webster City, Arthur Gutknecht of Albert Lea, MN. niece, Judith Sizemore, Newton, Kan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Boyd Weidlein; sisters, Lola Wilson, Mildred Shaffer, June Gutknecht, and Wilma Weidlein.

She was a member of the Brookmeade Congregational Church, UCC, the Kappa Sigma Pi National Honorary for Women in Chemistry, and was certified by the National Registry in Clinical Chemistry.
