OBITUARY

Albert Felleson

Albert Felleson was born October 1, 1859, at Moline, Ill., and came to Iowa with his parents in 1870, locating on a farm near Stratford. He was confirmed and united with the Swedish Lutheran church of Stratford in 1876. For several years he made his home in Colorado but since 1906 has resided in Stratford until March 24, 1927, when he went to the Iowa Sanitarium at Nevada, where every possible effort was made that he might regain his failing health. He improved so that in the fall of that year he returned to Stratford for a week. Since that time he had failed gradually until he passed away at that place January 23, 1928, at the age of 68 years, 3 months, 22 days. His father and mother, three sisters and five brothers have preceded him in death and he leaves to mourn his passing, one brother, Frank, a niece and nephew, Florence and Leslie Barquist, besides other relatives and a host of friends.

Deceased was widely known in this community, well liked by all who knew him and always willing to render his services for the welfare of the church of which he had been a faithful member.

During his sickness he had remained patient and cheerful retaining his faith until His Heavenly Father called him to his final reward.

Funeral services were held from the Lutheran church here Thursday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Gunnar Goransson, and the remains were interred in the South Marion cemetery.
