The Freeman, Webster City, Iowa, Wednesday, January 30, 1889

The remains of Edward, son of Robert (Mary Ann Kittle) Crane, of Marion township, were brought home for interment a few days since. He died in Chicago, of typhoid fever; aged, about twenty-four years. He was an industrious, and in all respects an exemplary young man, and one that will be missed by the community in which he has so long resided.
