ALBERT BRANDT

Funeral services for Albert Brandt were held Sunday, July 27, 1958, at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Ruppert officiating.

Pallbearers were Phillip Rehnblom, Leonard Angstrom, Elmo Westrum, Sidney Westrum, Marvin Westrum and Dalton Westrum. Soloist was Mrs. Harold Westrum accompanied by Mrs. Cleo Bell. Burial was at the South Marion cemetery.

Albert Brandt, son of Gust and Christina Johnson Brandt, was born on a farm southeast of Stratford, March 2, 1889, and died at his farm home July 24, 1958 at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 21 days.

He received his education in the Marion Center school and was a veteran of World War I, and at the time of his death was a member of the American Legion.

Mr. Brandt was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include two brothers, Leonard of Stratford and George of Compton, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Florence Silvey of Boone; four nieces and one nephew.
