MRS. BJUSTROM DEAD AT 76

Mrs. Hilda Bjustrom, 76, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at her home in Stratford.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., at the South Marion Church near Stratford, preceded by a brief service at the Bjustrom home at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery. The Rev. Rasmussen will officiate at the services with Foster's Funeral Home in charge.

Born in Sweden

Hilda Sophia Olsson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Per Olsson, was born Dec. 22, 1870, in Kisa, Östergötland, Sweden. She was educated in Sweden and came to the United States at the age of 21, locating at Windsor, Conn. At Windsor she was married to Carl Anderson, on May 11, 1895. Mr. Anderson died in 1900 and his wife continued to make her home in Windsor until 1904 at which time she moved to Illinois.

In 1911 she moved to Stratford where she was united in marriage May 10, 1911, to Victor R. Bjustrom. Mr. Bjustrom died in 1932.

In addition to Mr. Anderson and Mr. Bjustrom, those preceding her in death include her parents; a son, Gustav Anderson, who as killed in a 1939 mine accident at Kellogg, Idaho; three brothers and three sisters.

List Survivors

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Arthur J. Johnson (Helen Anderson) of Litchfield, Minn., five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters: Andrew J. Peterson of Litchfield, Minn., Axel Peterson and Oscar Peterson, both of Sweden; Mrs. Karen Schwartz and Mrs. Ada Samuelson, both of Sweden.

Mrs. Bjustrom was an active member of the South Marion church and prominent in its activities.
