Marion W. Ose, 75, died Friday, March 27 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services were held Monday, March 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williams. Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery at Williams.

He was born July 18, 1922 in Zearing, IA, the son of Oscar and Beulah Mark Ose. He graduated from Zearing Schools and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Roslynn Simpson on Nov. 26, 1947 at Webster City. He was a farmer.

He was a member of the Williams American Legion Post #633 of which he was a past commander; Blairsburg Lions; Hamilton County ASCS County Committee and past president of the Blairsburg Elevator Board.

Survivors are his wife, Roslynn; two sons and daughters-in-law, Carroll and Judy Ose of Blairsburg, Wendell and Lynda Ose of Reston, VA;; a daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and John Jordison of Eagle, NE; a brother Enlow of Sacramento, CA; a brother-in-law Leon Brandt of Hubbard; two sisters-in-law Alice Ose of Ames and Donna Ose of Collins; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Keith and Vernon, and one sister Orpha Brandt.

Full military rites were conducted by the Webster City American Legion Post #191 and folding and presentation of the flag by the Williams American Legion Post #633.

Surls Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
