July 19, 1906

Carl G. Anderson, father of J.V. Anderson of this place, a pioneer settler of Polk county, died at his home in Des Moines last Wednesday and remains were shipped to Stratford, arriving Thursday morning. The funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon and the remains were interred in the Olson cemetery.

Note: Unmarked grave - likely buried on lot with wife and daughter.
