Earl Feske, 72, Eagle Grove, died Thursday, May 18, 2000 at the Southfield Care Center in Webster City. His funeral service was held Monday at the Willim Funeral home in Eagle Grove with James Toillion officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Earl Ervin Feske was born Feb. 19, 1928 at Salem, S.D., the son of Daniel and Lydia Josephine Hirsch Feske. He graduated from Waterloo East High School and served in the Army from January, 1947 until May, 1948 in the Fort Clayton Canal Zone in Panama. On Feb. 14, 1957, he married Dorothy Stubbs at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. He worked for Frigidaire in Webster City as an order and warehouse manager for 20 years. He was a member of the Eagle Grove Lions Club when it was active and past member of the Marshalltown Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, Eagle Grove, three children and their spouses, Tawnia Valerie and Larry Tempel of Kamrar, Kevin and Kelli Feske of Eagle Grove, Kenneth and Dee Feske of Ottumwa, five grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen, Lorelei, Megan and Brandon Feske; three step-grandchildren, Mindy Woodford, Christi Craig and Julie Lanken, seven step-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
