Arlene Conant, 63, Kiln, MS., died Thursday, April 13, 2000 in Pass Christian, MS. Funeral services were held Sunday at Reimann Funeral Home Chapel in Bay St. Louis, MS. Burial was in the Alphonse Malley Memorial Cemetery.

Arlene Conant, daughter of Chester and Grace Neal, was a native of Wichita, KS. She was the manager of the Goodwill Store in Bay St. Louis and was a member of the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors are her husband William Conant, Kiln, MS., sons Charles Conant of Cape Giradeau, MO., Bruce Conant of Hollister, CA., Jason Conant of Allentown, PA., Jacob Conant, Kiln, MS., daughters Valerie Ward, Kiln, MS., Shawna Myers, Diamondhead, MS., Billie Jo Ruspoli of Necaise Crossing, MS., brothers Chester Neal Jr. and Jerry Neal, both of Denver, CO., sister Janice Hewitt, Lander, WY., Linda Meacham, Aurora, CO., 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, step-mother Mary Neal, daughter Lora Lee Conant and brother Frank Neal.
