Kenneth H. Peterman, 64, Webster City, died Saturday, April 15, 2000 at Hamilton Hospital. Following cremation, funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral home and 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Timothy Boekelman officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the Corpus Christi Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday with the Vigil for the Deceased scheduled at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kenneth H. Peterman was born Dec. 30, 1935 in Oelwein and graduated from Oelwein High School in 1955. Following his education, he became employed by John Deere in Waterloo. In 1958, he married Patricia Berger at Sacred Heart Church in Oelwein. He was employed for Arnold Motor Supply in Oelwein and in 1969, moved to Fort Dodge and continued his employment for Arnold Motor Supply. In 1982, he became employed by Iowa Central Community College as a farm power and diesel mechanic instructor until 1992. He was then self-employed in antique tractor repair until the time of his death.

He was president of the Central Iowa Two Cylinder Club, National Two Cylinder Club, Des Moines River Valley Antique Tractor Club and the Iowa Fireman's Association and the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Duncombe.

Survivors are his wife Patricia; sons Kent Peterman of Lytton, Dan Peterman of Webster City; daughter Connie Kruckenberg, Earlham, seven grandchildren, step-father Joe Breeding, Redfield, SD; step-mother Marie Peterman, Tucson, AZ, sisters Karen Cole, California, Carol Peterman, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father Harold and mother Helen Breeding, and a son Steve.
