Mrs. Arnold Bechtel has received word of the death of her uncle, James Edward Triplett of St. Paul, Minn. Mr. Triplett died Thursday, Oct. 23 at the age of 85.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; one son, Dale of St. Paul; and one sister, Mae, of Sleepy Eye, Minn.

He is survived by one son, Elton H. Triplett of St. Paul, Minn., a sister-in-law, Mrs. Zelma McCollough of St. Paul; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Triplett lived and worked in Webster City for about 20 years before moving to St. Paul.

Funeral services were held Monday with interment being at Elmhurst cemetery at St. Paul.
