Frank A. Greenley, 75, Webster City, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Private graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery with Rev. William Kem officiating. The family requests friends attend a reception at the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Frank Albert Greenley, son of Joseph and Grace Urich Greenley, was born Nov. 21, 1923 at LeMars. At the age of four, he moved with his parents to Webster City and attended Webster City Schools. During World War II, he worked at shipyards in Portland, OR. On Jan. 4, 1949 he married Cheryl Davis at Vermillion, S.D. The couple resided in Webster City. He was employed as manager of the Elks Club. He owned and operated the Shady Oaks Inn. In 1985, he retired after managing the American Legion for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, son, Frank Larry Greenley, Sioux City, daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Allen Holm, Story City, Walter Greenley of Webster City; sisters, Nova Fisher of Vallejo, CA., Blanche Hatt of Des Moines, WA., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Amos, Cecil and Melvin Greenley and sister, Viola Butler.
