Selma Lundien, 82, Webster City, died Saturday, May 29, 1999 at the Southfield Care Center. Graveside services will be held at South Marion Cemetery, southeast of Stratford on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. There will be no visitation and arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral Home.

Selma Minnie Sprow, daughter of Charles and Sadie Swenson Sprow, was born October 10, 1914 on a farm near Kamrar. She received her education at Kamrar. On June 4, 1948 she married Arvey Herman Lundien. The couple resided in Stratford then in Webster City. She was a homemaker. Mr. Lundien died on Jan. 30, 1981. She has resided at Southfield since October, 1993.

Survivors are a daughter, Sadie Elizabeth Lundien, Fort Dodge; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Gilbert, Guy, Sophus, Clarence and Casper Sprow, and sister Myrtle Redling.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
