DIED MONDAY AT ROCHESTER

Funeral Services Thursday for Mrs. John C. Bell, Age 63

Mrs. John C. Bell, 63, widely known resident of this community, died Monday night at Worall hospital, Rochester, Minn., where she had been a patient the past two weeks. Mrs. Bell had been a semi-invalid for a number of years, and seriously ill about two years. Her husband and only surviving sister, Miss Metta Robinson, were with her at the time of death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 3:30 at the Methodist church with the Rev. J.J. Share officiating, and at 1:30 at the home, three miles east of Webster City. Burial will be in Blairsburg cemetery, Foster's in charge.

Minnie Barbara Robinson, daughter of Daniel C. and Mary Melissa Robinson, was born near Cannelton, Ind., Nov. 18, 1880. The family were long time residents of Hamilton county, having moved here in 1896.

She was united in marriage March 20, 1906 to John C. Bell. Preceding her marriage she had taught in Hamilton county and Clark county rural schools.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Nancy Van Buskirk, and two brothers, Dr. Charles Robinson and William A. Robinson.

She leaves her husband, six children and 11 grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Harold Schroder and Mrs. Don Grove of Blairsburg; Melvin C. Bell of Webster City; Mrs. Keith Vegors of Winfield, Kans.; Mrs. Richard Janson of Amarillo, Texas; and John R. Bell, at home.

For a number of years the Bell family lived on a farm north of Blairsburg, and ten years ago moved to their present home east of town.

United with the Methodist church in early childhood, Mrs. Bell was a member of the local church. Her home was the center of her life and her greatest interests were in her family. She was a quiet unassuming person, and she will be missed by a host of friends in this community and near Blairsburg.
