OLIVE STERNER

Oliver Sterner, a former Stratford resident, died at Fort Myers, Fla.

Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, Stratford, with Reverend Calvin Rossman officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until noon.

OLIVE STERNER

Oliver Sterner, 85, of Stratford, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1981 in the Fort Myers Community Hospital, Fort Myers, Florida.

She was born April 29, 1896 in Leon, Iowa, to Thomas and Elizabeth Glockler.

She later married Edward A. Sterner, at Dayton.

Mrs. Sterner lived in the Stratford commmunity all of her life and was a member of the Stratford Lutheran Church for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter in 1965, a great-granddaughter and three sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Glenn Bernice Poulson, Fort Myers, Florida; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday, Aug. 17 at the Stratford Lutheran Church, with Rev. Calvin Rossman officiating. Burial will be at the South Marion Cemetery, south of Stratford.

Visitors may call Sunday at the Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until noon, when the casket will be taken to the church.
