Melferd Luverne Sealine, son of Anton & Emma Berggren Sealine, was born October 30, 1916 on a farm southwest of Stanhope, Iowa. On September 21, 1940 he married Arlene Enderson at Stanhope.

He is survived by his wife, sons & daughters-in-law; Ronald & Shirley Sealine of Burlington, Paul & Mary Sealine of Stratford, daughters and sons-in-law; Diane & John Ford of St. Joseph, Mo. Anita & Doug Johnson of Vinton, Joyce Sealine of Edina, MN, grandchildren; Steven & Kristine Ford, Carrie & Eric Johnson, Cheryl Irwin, Cindy Lovig, great grandchildren; Jacob and Tyler Irwin, sister; Bernice Lund Huebner of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edward Sealine.
