Carol Gillette, 61, Webster City, died, Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at Van Diest Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is caring for the family.

Carol Gillette, 61, of Webster City, died, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Van Diest Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Stephen Meyer, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.
Carol Anne Malaise, daughter of Donald and Billie Rohn Malaise, was born June 7, 1957 in Webster City. She graduated from Central Webster High School in 1975 and from Mount Mercy College with a degree in Elementary Education. She worked at Options in Cedar Rapids, Northwood SLiving in Fort Dodge and was a case manager for over 20 years at Webster County Social Services before retiring in 2016.
Carol is survived by her children, Margaret (Scott) Gillette Stines of Webster City, Mary (Adam) McCarthy of Dyersville, Tim Gillette of Webster City, grandchildren, Isaac Stines, Gracelynn and Penelope McCarthy; sister, Vicki (Willie) Heslop of Otho; brothers, Warren (Gretta) Malaise of Cape Coral, FL, and Steve (Debbie) Malaise of Portland, OR.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and “Board Meeting.”
