OBITUARY
PETERSON

Louis Peter Peterson was born in Östergötland, Sweden, May 24, 1838 and died at his home southeast of Stratford Saturday morning Nov. 27, 1920, aged 82 years, 6 months and 3 days.

He came to America in the year 1864 and was united in marriage to Miss Annie Andrews September 5, 1874 and to them were born three children, one of whom died in infancy. Those who survive him are his wife, his two sons, Willie and Eddie, both of whom are living at home, two sisters and numerous other relatives and a host of lifelong friends.

Deceased was one of the pioneer settlers of the Clear Lake neighborhood coming to that community in an early day and helping to pave the path for the future generations. He was well known all over this part of Hamilton county and held in high respect by everyone.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home and the remains interred in the South Marion cemetery. Rev. Bengtson of the Stratford Baptist church officiating.
