OSLUND

After a long and confining illness lasting a period of many months, Sara Elizabeth Oslund, passed away at the home of her brother J. Oslund, Thursday afternoon. She had made her home at the Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Oslund home for a number of years, a goodly portion of which she has been bedridden and although her passing is sad and bereaved by those who loved her, death came as a blessed relief from a long suffering.

Sara Elizabeth Oslund was born January 1, 1849 at Njurunda, Sweden and died at the home of her brother June 19, 1919, at the age of 70 years, 5 months, 18 days. She came to America in 1891 and after a three ? residence in Des Moines moved to Pasadena, California and resided there for twenty-three years. Two years ago she came to Stratford.

She was converted in 1878 and was united with the Baptist Church at Svart Vik, Sweden. She was a member of the First Baptist church at Los Angeles, Calif., at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held from the Baptist church Sunday afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the South Marion cemetery.
