Glenn Olson, 79, of Boone died of a heart ailment Sunday at Ledges Manor there. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at South Marion Cemetery near Stratford.

Mr. Olson was born in Charles City and had lived in Boone most of his life. He retired from Iowa State University as a maintenance engineer.

A sister, Dorothy Pierce of Cambridge, survives.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday at Schroeder Memorial Chapel in Boone.
