Dear dad you have gone and left us
In this world of grief and pain
But by faith, hope and patience
In heaven we will meet again.

Our hearts are filled with sorrow
As we gather 'round the Pall
But we know the Saviour called you
As you answered His call.

Our comradeship is over
By the grim reaper of Death
But in heaven we hope to meet you
To share God's golden wealth.
