STRATFORD-Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. for Mrs. Clifford Neese, 58, who died Tuesday at the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames.
The services will be held at the First Baptist church in Stratford with the Rev. Harold Richardson officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hanson funeral home until noon Friday when the body will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Neese is survived by her husband; one son, Paul Neese of Stratford; two daughter, Mrs. Charles (Pamela) Bloomquist of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Tom (Kathryn) Reed of Boone; two sisters, Mrs. Ed. D. Poulson of Mt. Prospect, Ill., and Mrs. George Nede of Valparaiso, Ind., and seven grandchildren.
She was born in Boone county June 19, 1910, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank [Nellie Clare White] Crouse. She was educated in the Stratford community and was a member of the First Baptist church. She was also a member of the Avon chapter, OES at Stratford.
She was married to Clifford Neese June 20, 1928, and the couple had always since resided on a farm northeast of Stratford.
