John D. Johnson, 66, passed away, Monday, April 9, 2012 at his home in Boone, Iowa following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

John is survived by his wife Lynn (Sunstrom); sons Jeff and wife Lauren of Seattle, Washington and Joe of Boone; granddaughter Dory O'Halloran; as well as a niece, Lisa Christie; a brother-in-law Jon Sunstrom and wife Deb; a niece Anna Sunstrom; and a nephew Wil Sunstrom.

A family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 11th at 5:00 p.m. at South Marion Cemetery north of Boone on R27 with Pastor Dan Solomon officiating.
