Karin Lou Hickcox, 60, of Stratford, Iowa passed away at the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center in Stratford on Saturday evening, January 10, 2015 where she has resided for the past 20 years.

She was born on July 7, 1954 in Boone, Iowa the daughter of Benjamin and Donna Lee (Carlstedt) Robinson.

Karin graduated from Boone High School in 1973. Karin loved listening to music and sitting outside basking in the sun.

She was a member of the Stratford Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stratford.

Her father, Ben in August of 2000, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her mother Donna Robinson of Stratford; children Chad Hickcox and wife Gina of Gretna, Nebraska and Stacey Burns and husband Mike of Grand Junction, Iowa; brothers Kurt Robinson and Kim Robinson and wife Holly; 2 nephews Kristopher Robinson and Zachary Robinson; 1 niece Shelby Robinson; and 5 grandchildren.
