Naomi Erickson, 63, of Stratford, died Thursday evening, April 14, 1983 at the Stratford Care Center.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Stratford Lutheran Church with the Rev. Calvin Rossman officiating, and burial at the South Marion Cemetery. Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, George M.; three daughters, Elaine (Mrs. Gary) Signs of Perry, Barbara Jean Wade of North Hollywood, California, and Donna (Mrs. Larry) Glist of Ames; one son, Daryl E.of Stratford; three grandchildren; her mother, Helga Swanson of Stratford; one brother Donald Swanson of Lehigh; one sister, Doris (Mrs. Howard) Bergman of Stratford, nieces and nephews.

She was born October 25, 1919 in Stratford, the daughter of Axel and Helga Anderson Swanson. On June 1, 1938, she married George M. Erickson at the Lutheran Church parsonage in Boone.

Mrs. Erickson was a member of the Stratford Lutheran Church and the LCW of that church.

She was preceded in death by her father and one granddaughter.
